any store sells it with hair care products. try Kmart, Walmart, Meijer, or a beauty supply store.
i buy it as a solid in a jar like grease maybe thats why you don't see it if youre looking for a liquid oil.

Go to a beauty supply store....you will find a whole lot of coconut oil products there. Try "Palmers Coconut Oil". It's specifically for hair.

I would also try a specialty food store, like an asian food store. The oil from the grocery store is more for cooking and doesnt work as well in hair.

You want to get the kind they sell at a natural foods or vitamin store. They all have them. You have to heat it up under hot water though because it gets white and clumpy.
