it would seem a simpler explanation - and one that would not require that the laws of nature by abandoned

But even the blind man's parents attested to the fact that he was blind since birth, when confronted by the Pharisees.

On top of that, that goes against the fact that Jesus taught not to deceive. For Him to deceive is highly hypocritical, hence making Him not God, nor Messiah, meaning 100% of all other miracles He did were also frauds, and the faith of millions of people is in vain, and every last vile soul on earth (like Saul/Paul and myself), that is, the wicked amongst the wicked, pulled a complete 180 degree turnaround in their lives, overnight, for some nondescript random reason (which would then defraud the strange belief that people with 'certain conditions' such as genetic dependency problems and homosexuality can't change who they are by sheer will... but rather, really can... therefore making science a fraud in such a claim).

Yeah... it's possible He pretended (ahem. lied.) about healing the blind man. It's also quite possible that the only reason I'm typing to you is 'cuz I'm pretending to be alive, but I'm really dead because of a horrible car accident involving a stuck gas line in my car.

John 9:1¶ And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

It's not likely. Jesus performed this miracle while in Jerusalem.
Jesus would have had to pay him off starting when the man was born. The logistics are not compatible with Jesus' locations, and most probable, Jesus was not in Jerusalem when the man was born.

Don't you believe in miracles? You have to watch Christian TV, Check out Benny Hill, sorry Hinn. Ok so his bouncers won't let the real cripples down front, and he does own a huge mansion on the California coast, but he sucks , sorry cures them and they all jump up & down & praise Jesus & the money keeps rolling in,tax-free. I like this new guy and his wife, they just work on odesity problems. He's my man.

Hummmmmm .... Laws of nature... If we are talking about the One who created the laws of nature would the laws apply.... Or could he know just how to use those laws to make his eyes work... People are so quick to say the Laws of Nature... a God couldn't possible do something like that, but they never take in account an all powerful, all knowing, all present God. If God created couldn't he do what ever he wants...?

When U touch the issue of what exatly happened in history, there is no way you can prove it like u r showing a video. it is a matter of belief.
I am a believer but I am a researcher too. My personal experience, people believe in what they believe blindly. Go and try to ask in details, deep details about what they believe and they will not undertsand most of what they believe. I think people need to be more open minded, life is a never ending college.

bismillaah (in the name of Allaah)

No, such a blind person cannot pretend for one simple reason (that might not be mentioned in the Bible but rather mentioned in the Quraan):

"....And will make him [(‘Îsâ (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allâh’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allâh’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe." Quraan 3:49

Notice: "....I heal him who was born blind." being born blind is not something to be planned. That is the reason of not being pretended.

I have a question: did I pay you to ask such a question?

Prophets and Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon them) do not ask for rewards of people, apart from asking them to pretend:

""O my people I ask of you no reward for it (the Message). My reward is only from Him Who created me. Will you not then understand?" Quraan 11:51

May Allaah guide us to His path!

-----

Commenting on my words ".....that might not be mentioned in the Bible.":
Thanks for those who quoted from the Bible!

no body has been able to perform miracles since.
Jesus never performed any miracles while he lived in India to the age of 120 yrs and he is buried there. Jesus escaped crucifixion and fled to India.

Is your score really so low that you have to ask such a daft question? You might just as well have asked whether Adam's apple was a Pink Lady or a Granny Smiths!

It wouldn't explain the scriptures that stated his family and people he grew up with verified that he had been blind his entire life, but… I guess if you want to ignore what else is said.

You're also only explaining one of many miracles.

the simplest explanation is always the easiest to swallow...

so because anything is possible, i guess he could have, they do have silver coins in those days...

but you must accept that those things that are a little hard to explain aren't necessarily untrue...

such as, can you prove to me that 1 plus 1 is 2
