By doing so, you might get new (and possible different) answers from people that did not see the question the first time around days or weeks before. This also helps you get possibly better answers than the fisrt time.
If it is ok to re-ask the same questions, does Yahoo prevent you or in any other way control this?

Can one ask more than once? Obviously, the answer is yes. Because unfortunately, so many people do.

1. I've seen it done, and by the same asker.
2. Learn from the first question (i.e. what wasn't answered), and address it more specificially in the second question.
3. Remember, the more info you give the 'Answerer', the more informed the answer will be, or pertainable to your set of circumstances.

You can get reported for asking the same question more then one time. Unless you delete the first question which takes points away. Or unless you have another account then thats fine.

I've done it when I had no response the first time around, and when I'd typed it in the second time I had the message 'No other similar questions found!'

u can ask the same question over and over, but people get tired to answer the same thing.
