If you get headaches AFTER you eat it could be an allergy, true. But if you get headaches WHEN you eat it could be a Toothache you misinterpret as a headache, or it could be a broken jaw you do not know about or one out of joint or stress in the muscles. Also you could be getting migraines which are sometimes aggravated by eating. Do you see sparkly white dots in your field of vision?

Might be a food allergy, but depending on how soon after eating you get it may be a clue.
Check out the symptoms list at www.hufa.org. If you have more than headaches, you may want to get checked out for low blood sugar or high insulin.
E-mail me if you have any questions.

Sorry to hear about your headaches.
Could be a food allergy, or a migraine-trigger, or even TMJ syndrome giving you the headache while you chew. I'd go to the doctor first and see if he will recommend you to see a specialist such as an allergist, neurologist, or even perhaps an oral surgeon (assuming it's TMJ).
Good luck

It depends on what you are eating, make a list, eat certain foods by themselves and note what you ate. Is the food too salty? are you a diabetic, do you have high blood pressure? The best thing for you to do is see an allergist or your primary care physician and request a food allergy test.

I can only guess, but maybe it's the act of chewing, itself.
You could have a minor problem with your molars, or jaw, that a dentist could maybe look at.
Also, if you wear glasses, they might be pressing against your temples while you chew. I have one pair of glasses that i can't wear while I eat. Super headache.
Those are only guesses. Good luck and I hope you find the cause.

It is probably because of the type of food you are eating. Check out the Neurology Forum at medhelp.org. It has some interesting information on this subject.
