About your hair if I were you I would take a couple of things into consideration. #1 I would think about your skin tone. Don't go to light or dark because it can wash you out. #2 consider that the fall and winter months are coming up and most....not all people go darker than they would in the spring and summer months. So now is definitely not the time to go bleach blonde highlights. I would say go with some carmel highlights maybe even a rich strawberry blonde look. As far as going in and saying have fun, it depends on how much you trust your hairdresser. If you trust them then I say go for it. Oh and one more thing in the 3 hairdfessers I have been to, when you go in and say do what you want that is when they do their best work because there is no pressure in meeting another persons criteria. So good lck and I am sure it will come out great.

I say GO 4 IT!!! It's not only great 2 switch it up a bit, but it's
also great 4 U're hair! Get it cut short & "messy", that's HOT!
Get lighter blonde highlights with lots of layers! Guys like it!
I got 13" cut off my hair 6 mo ago, I donated it 2 LOCKS OF
LOVE, (U can call some salons in U're area 2 C who participates
w/that organization, if U're hair is long enouph) Everyone thought
it was a great change.
Good Luck, I'm sure U'll look great! It always grows back
anyway!

It all depends what you want a cut that you have to keep up with, styling wise, or do you want something that is more practical and easy to deal with. If you want to do a lot of styling then get a short cut a little above shoulders with lots of layers. Go and get a hairstyle magazine they got tons of cuts for all different lengths. With color and winter coming I go to a light brown with a little highlights but if you don't want to keep up the maintains on the color then you shouldn't go darker. I love going into salons and telling them to do whatever it's fun and they come up with some of the cutest styles. But it all depends on if you want High Maintenance or Low Maintenance hair.

I personally love long blonde hair, but if you want to cut it, I am sure that you will stll be cute. Highlights would look really nice too.

You should cut it low and dye it blue. One of the girls on my jobs did it and at first when I heard she did I though hmm I bet she looks weird but when I saw her I must admit she looks beutiful. (even though I told people how ugly she looks) I have been even thinking about doing the same thing but I really really really don't like her so I don't want her thinking that I do in anyway. But I have to admit she did look beautiful with it though.

get it styled differently and get it shaped for the style. but by all means dont cut it short. few girls can pull that look off, maybe you can, but most that can already do. shoulder length hair is perfect. but hey thats just my opinion.
