We have had many of these over the years. One of the best one included a contest with ice cream and no utensils (just the bowl it was in). Can you guess the contest? Who ended up the messiest and who ended up the neatest. Everyone REALLY enjoyed that. Ask your daughter too for her ideas. Just Don't expect them to sleep much. That was always the only thing I never liked very much (they were always up really late making taking and laughing, etc.) Good Luck, I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

In May my oldest daughter turned 7, She also wanted a sleep over party. We ended up having 9 seven year olds in my house. I went to the local craft store and bought several crafts for the children to make. One of the best ones I did was the foam frames you can decorate. I took a group picture of all the girls and then printed each girl one for thier frame. They decorated the frame however they wanted to, and I put the picture in for them. I just kept them really busy basically. That way they didn't have time to gang up and bicker on each other. Around 9pm I actually did a sundae buffet. The girls loved that! Rather than fall asleep, they all kind of passed out from exhaustion. There wasn't one "problem" or "issue", which is really great considering I was dealing with all girls.
Also, maybe even more importantly, my husband went on an all night fishing trip. He returned home around 4:00am, long after everyone had gone to sleep.
Good luck!!!

What's to "plan"? You get junk food, sodas, koolaid, water, you rent videos, make sure a stereo is handy, (remove the computer otherwise you will have battles over WHO gets to use it) If your vacumn cleaner requires bags make sure there is a fresh one inserted and that you have plenty on hand because pillow fights can get out of hand. Make sure nothing is breakable in the are where the party will be held. You might want to set up a mirror in case they want to do "make overs". When choosing the videos make sure that ALL of the girls have permission to view the movies. While some parents allow pg13 viewing at this age some do not.

You have to have talent show and give a gift to all the girls but give the winner something nicer.
