As a mom of two I know exactly what you mean loose weight quickly. When I gave birth to my first baby 2 years ago I had gained so much weight. I was put on bed rest (preeclampsia) so whats a pregnant girl to do but eat and watch t.v. I lost about 15lb after birth and that was it!! when my daughter was 9mth I decided o.k. I need to loose weight. I worked out (cardio) 1hr everyday and strength 3 x a week. when my daughter was 11mth I only had 15lb to go, but what do know I'm prego again!!! This time around I decided I was not doing that again. Everyone I knew said to breastfeed, I did. I breastfed, took my prenatal vitamins, and did cardio 5 x a week, by the time I went to the doctor for my 6wk post partum I had gotten down 10lb less than pre pregnancy weight from baby # 1. Good luck to you and your new baby !!!

You should have gained no more than 25 to 30 lbs. during your pregancy. Your body had to adjust to making a whole human being it took 9 months. There is no quick fix. Just eat right and stay off fast foods exercise if you must, but taking care of the baby should prove to be enough, you are taking care of your baby aren't you? If you gained a lot of weight don't blame it on the baby, you overate so it will take longer than the required year to get your body back to normal. it's not the baby's fault.

As other have said breastfeeding is a great way to burn calories and shrink back your uterus to (as close as possible) pre baby size much quicker than not breastfeeding.

Weight training is another way to burn fat quickly and build muscle which combats exra weight especially in the mid section. Stay away from processed foods and sweets. Eat as much roughage as you possibly can and you will never feel hungry6. Don't deny yourself fresh fruits and veggies all else should be limited and in small quantities. If you arer breastfeeding any form of strict dieting could affect your milk supply as well as your own health so play it safe. :o)

Invest in some microwavable, low-fat meals. Lean Cuisine makes some decent-tasting meals. They will spare you the time needed to take care of your baby. Also, put your baby in a stroller and go for brisk walks in the evening when the sun is down.

Eating right and exercising daily, but you also have to remember you will probably always be on your feet with your new child. Just remember not to eat large portions and eating late is never a good habit to pick up.
