I do think they go way too far. They should stick to pets being treated wrong such as an owner beating his dog for fun. If they would only do that I would be happy with them but they go into too many things that they dont have a clue about. Like deer hunting. They think that we should let the population grow and let nature take care of itself. Some how they got it in their head that with the animals fighting for food it will build a stronger blood line. Whatever. To each his own. As for me Im hittin my stand in about 30 minutes

I know.....well knew two people that considered them self of the Peta mindset. neither bashed me for hunting one encouraged it "ethical treatment of animals=proper bullet placement" this person did say that it's not from me. The other didn't hunt because and they said "I don't think I could kill an animal and if I did I'd cry and bury it" while eating some mcnuggets. Both agreed on hating animal testing and hating animal abusers. They were among a special class of Peta I guess but some of the members are a little out there.

I say "No matter what your views, opinions or beliefs are you should not force that on someone else. If they accept it then they do if not then oh well. I like to hunt, you hate killing animals (but you'll eat them) so lets agree to disagree. Don't attack me and tell me I'm wrong or what I believe is wrong. I don't shove a shotgun in your hands and tell you to shoot that deer because I think your wrong."

"Man didn't become the dominant species by eating vegetables and fruit alone."

I guess these people think that when a pig is killed for meat sold in stores it is put to sleep in a humane fashion. They better think twice before they order another Egg McMuffin. Now most hunters have respect for the game they are hunting and respect at the time of the kill.

They're a bunch of zealots, and they have been linked to funding extremeist organizations like ELF (Earth Liberation Front) and ALF (Animal Liberation Front), both of which have committed criminal and terrorist acts in the USA. I don't like abusing animals, they ought to be treated in a decent fashion, but it is animals over people, always.

Count me in! Especially ever since I discovered that they offered a large sum of money to the town council of Hamburgh, New York to change the name of the town to something else that didn't involve meat.

Whackos........hmmmmmm.... Yeah, I guess that about sez it, but on the other hand, being as how most of them eat meat, hypocritical wackos is more accurate.
