I believe that marriage is a way of making your relationship legal, and respected by more people. Therefore a pre-nup is really not a bad thing at all. If you are going through a legal process, you should always cover your assets.

I think that a relationship should already consist of two adults who are completely in love and committed to each other. The relationship should already be what you want, because marriage will not fix any of your problems. It won't make a bad relationship good.

My mom and dad have been very happily married for ever. I see the effort they put into their marriage as a burden, they see it as compromise for harmony.
My personal problem with marriage is I am selfish enough to not want to share everything and I can not be monogamous. I am avoiding marriage like the plague. .
But just in case I get too messed up in Vegas or something, I have a prenuptial...and a living will.
The only difference between commitment relationships and marriage are the legal binding and separation protocols.
I believe that act of getting married should be legal for every man/woman, man/man, woman/woman partnership.

Marriage is more of a social institution that is recognized by society as the only acceptable way for a man and a lady to live together. Commitment is much greater than marriage. Nothing wrong with getting married provided you know you and your partners can be best mates, have conversation, have great hang-out-ability, take each other for who you are, dont try and change things in the other person, talk about things and be honest

Social marriage is just a legal binding document! Marriage is just for the eyes of the society. For me, marriage happens the moment two persons fell in love. The only knot to tie this marriage are not legal papers, or rings exchanged, or any religious ceremony but it is mutual trust, that is true love! In love, there should be no committment! You should be free and give freedom to your partner. If your mutual faith is strong, no one will ever betray each other!
That is the meaning of true marriage!

I just recently got married and the day after the wedding I felt completely different as a woman. At first it was very hard to describe but I knew I felt so happy. I have finally understood why I was feeling different after the day of the wedding. It was because I had so much love with a person who truly and unconditionally loves me. A person who I will have a child with. A person who I will go through ups and downs with. A person who is my knight and shining armour. I feel like a woman.

I plan to avoid it. I feel I can be monogamous without the OK of the government. The tax break would be nice though.

My life will not be complete until I get married. I think my wedding day will be the happiest day of my life.
