Call them and ask. It's the only way you'll find out. Maybe they can differ your enrolment until you've had the baby and are ready to get back.

You have enlisted in the military. You signed an agreement with them. No one is going to make you give up permanent custody. I think you are scared of the word CUSTODY by reading your other questions. Someone will need to physically care for your child while you go to boot camp. Then you get your child back and do what everyone else in the real world does, get a sitter and work. If you are sent on a tour, you will need a temporary guardian again.
By all means, do not blow this opportunity off because you do not want to leave your child for a little while. The military will give your child a better future. You will have health insurance, dental insurance, and most importantly you will be showing your child that you love him/her enough to sacrifice your feelings, for their future. That is what parenting is all about.

Having been in the military I know that you can't go through Basic Training while you are pregnant. If you are waiting until you give birth to go, I am wondering if there is a relative that can take care of your child while you are in training. You don't have to give up custody or your parental rights to do this.
There are many people in your position who are in the military. You could contact your recruiter and see if there are resources that can help you. Recruiters do not want to lose recruites, they will try to help in anyway they can. I commend you for wanting to enlist.
-Good luck

Pregnancy is an automatic disqualification, regardless of circumstances. You cannot go to basic pregnant, due to the stress and rigorous physical activity. If you wish to enlist after the birth, if you are a single parent you will have to give custody to someone else. Zero exceptions. Also, if you have to have a C-Section to give birth, you no longer qualify for military enlistment, regardless of how much time passes.

They can delay your enlistment/departure until after the baby is born. You don't have to give custody completely, you have to assign a temporary guardian while you are in bootcamp and any schools that require you to be "unaccompanied" (no baby) after bootcamp. Once you reach your permanent duty station you can terminate guardianship and get your baby back.

No you won't have to unenlist. All you will have to do is find someone to care for your baby while you are in boot and AIT. Preferably one of your parents. And as soon as you get orders for your PCS you can take your baby with you.

if you are a single parent, you will be unable to enlist period. If you are married, you have to wait until 6 months after the baby is born before you can go to basic training. If that is longer than the 12 months allowable in DEP, you will be dropped.

I don't beleive you can "unelist". You may be able to get a general discharge for a medical condition or some such.
