I want to buy a set of Mizuno golf irons from eBay. In particular I am looking for a set of MX-900. I want to make sure I am buying a genuine set. Any comments/advice would be greatly appreciated.

To my knowledge there are no pure Mizuno counterfeit Irons, There are numerous clones or knockoffs. A clone is most often a completely different name but has many of the same design characteristics. Most clones are legal. A Knock off is designed to look exactly like the original and simple changes something minor In the manufacturer name i.e. Mizono rather than Mizuno. Most knock offs are illegal. Buying from a reputable dealer rather than on eBay or via the newspaper should pretty well ensure you will get the real thing.

There are definitely fake Mizuno irons on the market. China has no or follows no international copyright laws and has manufactured about every iron model in the market. Even serial numbers are duplicated and you can not tell them apart from actual Mizunos. Unfortunately, these irons have made into the US and other places and are sold as originals. The best bet would be to purchase from a retailer or an ebayer with 100% feedback.

There are tons of sellers who sell clone clubs, but I think they usually advertise them as such. I would think it would take a great deal of trouble to build a set of clubs with the intention of passing them off as actual name brand clubs. But then, maybe I'm ignorant or naive. Is this a real issue with golf clubs?

Also I'm kind of surprised that the first responder draws his feedback line at 92. If you're trying, it's really not that hard to satisfy nearly 100% of your customers. I start getting suspicious of any seller with less than a 98. Above that point and I would think you would be safe. Any legitimate seller would be taking too big of a risk by knowingly selling fake clubs.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net
