The American bulldog.Why becase they make loyal pets and are good protectors. Contrary to what most believe, that this breed is as aggressive as the Pitbull Terrier, it actually is not. The american bulldog is a cross between the old english bulldog(which is now extinct, and does not look like the breed that we know it as now), and the Mastiff, Who was known for its strength, and ability to sneak up behind poachers and pin them down. The Pitbull Terrier is a mix between the old english bulldog and the terrier,(who has an aggressive behavior).for the sole purpose of having a strong dog that is aggressive.) Although the two share common physical traits, which they inherited from their ancestor the english bulldog, they do not share the same character traits when it comes to their aggression, and unpredictability. so in other words, they look cool, they're good protectors, and they are not nearly as dangerous.

Border Collies for the following reasons:
1 Super smart most are smarter than they're owners.
2. Herding with them and watching them herd is asolutely amazing. It's alomost like they know what what whatever the animal they're herding is going to do and they always stay one step ahead of them. plus it kinda seems like they can read your mind.
3 They are so sweet when they aren't working but they are espcaily when they are working cattle they can be down right nasty. I seen mine put 2,000 bull to the ground because it decided not to listen to him or me.(yes i know that it sounds mean but i will not risk somone getting hurt the dog, myslef, the bull or the other cattle). then as soon as the job is done they switch back into sweet loving dogs that just want to sit on your lap and hang out.
4. Their devotion to their owner and their jobs. Theses dogs will all day long or until they drop whichever comes frist. there have been days when i litarlly have to froce my dogs to stop working.
And i never have to froce them to work (not that i would) but when i say anything that even remotly sounds like cattle, sheep, or work they go nuts.
5. They are absolutely beautiful. They come in so many colors , sizes and shapes that no matter what you like a dog to look like you find it in this breed.
I also like Shetland Sheepdogs but mostly because i have one and shes really cute

Sheltie: They are very friendly and very intelligent. They make great family dogs and are great with kids. They are small in stature so they aren't going to be knocking things over, specially small children.
Only downside is that they are a long hair breed and hair maintenance can be an issue for some people.
If your not familiar with what a sheltie looks like some people call them miniature collies.

Labrador Retrievers because they loving, affectionate and a lot of fun. My Lab goes swimming with me in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. They are a great all around dog with the best personality.

Border Collie. They are one of the most intellegent and athletic of dog breeds. They actully think. Not to mention beautiful dogs, Especially when they have that "border collie stare"

Personally I like the Akita's. They're very loyal dogs who do not bark a lot only when they need to and are beautiful.

I like the Shiba Inu breed because they are so kawaii(cute)!Although I have 2 Chihuahua's!The male is red and the female is black.

I like retrievers of all kinds.
I like dogs big enough that I can pat their head without bending over.

Lhasa apso...they are a big dog in a little dogs body!
They have the sweetest dogonalities:)~ I love my lhasa!
