Have you ever cheated on a guy. If so why? And if you have not ever cheated why do you think people cheat?

I have not cheated on any guy. If someone cheats then there is a reason. I don't believe in the saying"once a cheater always a cheater". People ( some that I know) may cheat once and never do it again. Maybe they learned something from it and decided not to anymore. Other will continue. Sure, you say vows at your wedding, but sometimes things change over the years and people wonder. If people don't like it then they can end the relationship. I have not ever cheated. This is just my thoughts.

Yes, I did and although I am not proud of my actions there were a few different reasons. Well first, my ex (yes notice the past tense there) was cheating on me and would lie to me about his whereabouts...At the time I had good reason to believe that he was cheating because he was both physically and emotionally shut off to me amongst girls calling his phone and other things that made it pretty clear but not definite...He used to bring one of his friends over who became pretty much my best friend while I was overseas...and I dont want to reduce the relationship that I had with this guy down to this but he fullfilled the warmth and emotions and just interest that I was not getting from my husband. Yeah we could go along with the whole babble, that if I was so unhappy I should've left but the fact was that it didnt seem like an option at that point and cheating wasn't something on my mind it just happened and yes I did allow it and still to this day have no regrets for it beyond sinking to such a low level like he was doing to me...It also felt like pay back for all of the bs that he put me through...needless to say that I finally left and ended both my marriage and the affair...a few months later my ex and i tried to work it out once he was done with the military...he swore the lies and all of the cheating that he had done was over with and I had not been with anyone else either...we got back together he cheated on me again and I finally got the nerve to kick him out...(something i shouldve done instead of cheating on him and sinking to his level)...the point im trying to make is that when needs whether they are emotional or physical arent being met..some people (including myself) become selfish and to an extent* vulnerable to meeting those needs by any means necessary despite how horrible, stupid, and hurtful etc these actions may be.

I've never cheated, but I have ended a relationship (it wasn't serious, but a relationship nevertheless) when someone I really liked came along. I had some reasons to leave before, but that gave the boost to say that things weren't exactly working out. (We remained friends, by the way.)
People cheat for a variety of reasons... some will do it to spite a partner, others because their inhibitions are reduced (such as being drunk or high or even manic if you're bipolar), some will cheat to have sexual variety, others will cheat just because they can or wonder when they'll get caught... some will "make a mistake" and others will cheat because they can get a need filled that they may be too embarrassed to talk about with their partner (such as a crossdresser, for example...)
Men aren't the only ones who cheat, though they're the ones who society expect to... women can have a sex drive, too and some men have a low sex drive (I've dated some... heh). There's a reason that there are sex toy and pronography industies... but also prostitutes (many men will go for oral sex... apparently some women are disgusted by this)

No, I haven't cheated on a guy. I have cut it pretty close (3 days) from the point from breaking up with one guy to going out with another guy, and I have gone out with a guy while still technically married (divorce proceedings take a while!), but I don't consider that cheating.
People cheat for a lot of reasons. They get bored, they feel that the "grass is greener on the other side", they don't respect their significant other, they were drunk and made a mistake, they let their sexual feelings get the best of them, etc.

Yes I have cheated. My boyfriend is stable and good for me and my son. The other guy was hat and a lot of fun. We had an affair for about a month and then it was over. I have never told my boyfriend and we are still together. I used to wonder if I should tell my bf but I received some really good advice. I was told that if the only reason to tell him was to relieve my conscience then it would not accomplish anything but hurting my bf. i followed that advice and we are now doing better than ever and have been together for 5 years.

no i have never cheated on a guy but then ive only gone out with 1 dude. i think that people cheat because they like the feel of being bad, the feeling that they know something the other does not. hope this is helpful. oh and the guy i went out with cheated on me so yay thats why people do it.

I have I was with this guy for 3 years I'm latina so I'm suppose raise to be loyal to my guy in everyway. But when were together he treated me good but when away I never knew what he was doing I was suppose to ask him. He never introduce me to any of his friends so I felt left out we broke up for some a month I had found out he had girls that he messed around with. after we had gotten back together again. I didn't know what to do but I didn't care anymore if he did it or not I just didn't want to get something from him. So I went to this other guy that liked for a long time and cheated on him once. Then I left him never saw them again. I know I didn't do the right decision but it did make me feel better he deserved it.

I have never cheated any of my b.f why i think people cheat is because they dont know what they want and they dont know what they have until its gone see guys think they have it all the could get any girl they want just by sweet talking or telling her nice things and they now how to make good lies well there girl that are good cheaters too not all boys fualt but maybe they were hurt and she just wants to get back at the guy i dont is this answer u were looking for

No," What would be the point ".The things you do in life have a tendency to backlash.
When some one cheats its got more to do with them ,their personality and ego.I believe it;s because they don't care enough about their partnership to make it work to start with.They can rationalize all they want about their partners faults and all the things that are lacking in the relationship. They use various reasons to justify the need for them to cheat,so they don't have to own up and take responsibility for emotionally harming someone else.And a true lack of self-respect,and distorted views on how to respect another individual...

ok you said to be honest, yes i have cheated on a guy before but i promise that im not a bad person. the only thing i did was talk to him, to my boyfriend that was cheating but at least i did not hide it. my reason was that the other guy had a better conversation for me, i felt comfortable talking to him , his personality was the best to me, and he listened; something my boyfriend did not care to do. i would never do it again because that's just not like me but i did have a weak moment(most normal people do) if you ever need truth from a girl again feel free to ask me kynasatz@aol.com!
