You know, I’m getting pretty sick of hearing this.
If God is the sort of being who condemns a person to suffer for all eternity just because their theology is wrong or they pray to Mary then he is just plain evil. And, it isn’t going to be long before some other bigger badder being is going to come along and just kick his butt four ways from Sunday.
Who knows, it might even be me. ;-)
Blessed Be
Pabs
Edit: To answer your question... No, I didn't know that.

That is sort of a harsh remark to make about so large a religious body. So they have views and doctrines different from the ones in your church, big deal. God knows everyones heart and if the Catholics are believers in Jesus and are for all intents and purposes doing God's work then I think he would overlook some of the other stuff...given he thinks it's wrong. Where were you looking when you got to the part of the bible that says "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Did you skip over that part? It is not for you to determine who will go to Hell. I do not profess to be Catholic and I admit to not understanding some of their teachings but they are Christian brothers and sisters and deserve more respect than what you just gave. Maybe you should pray for forgiveness for the sin of pride and judgement you are displaying today.

Catholics share the belief in the Communion of Saints with many other Christians, including the Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, Episcopal, and Methodist Churches.
The Communion of Saints is the belief where all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When you die and go to heaven, you do not leave this family.
Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints, you, me, my deceased grandmother, Mary the mother of Jesus, and Mother Teresa.
As part of this family, you may ask your family and friends here on earth to pray for you. Or, you may also ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Andrew, or your deceased grandmother in heaven to pray for you.
Prayer to saints in heaven is simple communication, not worship.
With love in Christ.

Yeah, just a note, Catholics don't pray to Mary or the Saints.
How is this hard?

no, god wants us to pray to a higher being for help, especialy the mother of his child, who is in heaven and has no sins. plus mary is not god, she is just a guidance, we know there is one god, but saints are in heaven and watch over us. theyre called saints, not gods, stupid

If you are judging and condemning people for such petty things, then your is not the kingdom of God either. "Judge not, lest thee be judged." "Let he who has no sin cast the first stone."
Get off of your high horse and try to learn some compassion and understanding.

Yes, but unfortunately Catholics do not believe that. They are brainwashed from birth. I know this because I was Catholic for 40 years, then I started to really read and understand the bible and break free. Praise the Lord. And all those "graven images"..statues in the church...

We need to be careful here, it's not our place to condemn, we are to judge the sin, God judges the sinner.
We are worth a Son to God.

We ask her to wish for us. Prayer and worship are no longer synonymous. the unique meaning of the understanding pray replaced into to "ask" or "petition." We ask Mary to wish for us and with us. She is the mother of God, she is in heaven. Her prayers for us are suited, in assessment to the prayers of those right here on earth nevertheless sure with the help of flesh and sin. it rather is not the two Mary or Jesus. We pray to Jesus and worship him, as does Mary. She isn't in opposition along with her son and savior. there is not any verse that announces "pray to Mary" yet there are verses that say we ought to continuously pray for one yet another and ask for prayers of others. Mary is one people, she is member of the physique of Christ. St. Paul says no longer something can separate us from Christ, no longer even death. Mary is rather alive in heaven with him, and in a position to wish for us to him.
