That was dumb as H*LL. Hopefully the dope (No pun intended) didn't have any dope left on him. Now he'll get a DUI and then be put on the unofficial list of drug users that every police dept keeps.

Yep. Pretty stupid. But, they can't really do anything about you being high. As long as he no longer had any pot on him, I don't think they can charge him. Unless he was driving.... I'm not sure what they do in that case.

If he was driving, they can probably still charge him with driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated, at least they can in most states.
