JGMS: I think some of the above misread your question as I did upon first reading - before you added a clarification. The issue is so hot button that few of us can rationally consider it. I am a true anti-illegal immigration white person simply because the onslaught of Mexico's poor cannot continue. It is the Mexican government in collusion with the U.S. government that has ushered in this catastrophe - and it started about 30 years ago. This has nothing to do with legal immigration - the way all of us got here. All my grandparents immigrated from Norway. Bless them or I might be a pornographer or eat a diet of Lefsa and that horrible fish they consume.
Now, generalizations are never good. Not all white people have a congenital defect. I was tested and I am just fine, thank you very much.
And my view toward racism is that NOW the racists are the activists and the exploiters (white, brown, black, yellow, red) of the indigent people coming up here to have a life. I wish I were younger and a military type because I would want to launch a revolution in Mexico against the ruling class.
Oh, and the looney house will not fix a congenital defect. Stem cells show promise but probably not in the lifetime of loser racists.

First off you should know that hate for hate has never solved any problem. Another thing to remember is that when someone hate another human being for the color of their skin or they are taking our jobs show an overwhelming lack of self confidence.
And how week their theories are about other races. Also this race hatred thing is about played out, For it has been over used by everyone. Now the only reason that it stills exist is because the politician refuse to let it just die out, Because of their political power bases.The human mind and heart know that it is wrong to use it, that is why this world is slowly going insane trying to maintain this race hate thing. Just remember this no matter what you are or where you go the lust for power and money is great. And that un-scrupled people will continue to play every card that they can to maintain their Status Quo. Even at the expense of total insanity.......

Actually, all of the racism I've seen in person, not in some movie of the week or slanted news reporting, has been black on white and Mexican on white. I've never seen a white on brown hate crime, never met a white person who condoned such crap, and don't know any other white people that stand up for themselves when slandered, misidentified, miscategorized and attacked the way we are. You are unedcuated, brainwashed and just plain mean and racist. You already believed that white people were inbred, racist rednecks and so the only posts you see and remmeber are the minority of people posting that nonsense, which is usually exagerated to piss off people like you. If you had a brain in your head you wouldn't be posting this inflamatory crap and would be able to see there are all kinds of people of all races.

I for one do not have anything against a person trying to make a better life for themselves. The problem I have is with policy not allowing legitimate immigration. I do feel however that until the policy is changed we must stand by our laws. Coming to the country illegally actually hurts the migrant by not affording them the full freedoms of this country that I love so much.

if someone has said something racist towards you, the answer is not to be say something racist back. you are just going to get more hateful responses. and may I add, posting hate about illegal immigrants is not the same as posting hate about a certain race. illegal immigrant is NOT a race.

oh man, did you call me a racist?? man that's new. and let me tell you, that hurt my feelings. i didn't know that since i would like to protect my country that i served for 6 years and pay taxes to (sales, income, and state) from an invasion of people who don't do the same and even terrorists (who knows in these crazy times) i was a racist. whew glad someone told me. i should go out and hug an illegal. oh i should let him/her steal my wallet, while running me over with his/her uninsured car while an a drunken bender.

Now... on the illegal immigration subject:
Illegal immigration is toooootally wrong, but sadly it is still very popular because there's a market for illegal immigrants (those dirt-pay jobs many US citizens don't want to do are perfect opportunities for those seeking any kind of money)
If there's a market for illegal aliens, ¿whose fault is it?.. you see, illegal immigration would slow down or disappear if people didn't hire illegal aliens to do their dirty work... but those dirt-pay jobs no one wants to take are important on a small scale, so if only a few illegals are willing to take those jobs for a small amount of money then so be it (its business, not financial aid)
Sooo, the solution is either raising the pay on those jobs and offering them only to legal american citizens, or hitching your shirtsleeves and doing those jobs in spite of the pay (not giving them to the illegal immigrants)
Simple, isnt it?
btw: US history is brimming with immigration (legal and illegal) since its foundation... so, get used to it! the issues may recede, but they will not go away... cooperate in your own way by culture, not violence.
