attractiveness had nothing whatever to do with body weight, except in those brainwashed by the social structure.
There are cultures in this world that think the larger a woman, the more beautiful she is.
As to health, obesity can indeed exacerbate many health conditions, but it doesn't CAUSE any of them. The same can be said for anorexia, except that anorexia more often leads to severe health problems than obesity does.
People need to learn that what is beautiful in a person has little or nothing to do with their exterior appearance. Only the very immature, or incredibly predjudiced look at obesity as being unattractive.

There's a difference between obese and just heavy or overweight. Obesity suggests someone who's weight has increased to a point where it is thought to be a risk factor for certain health conditions or increased mortality. So if someone is obese he/she is not healthy. He/she could very well be happy, that's a state of mind not based on physical appearence. But someone who's just heavy or mildy overweight could be healthy and happy, yes.

NO, but it is possibly to be obese and tell others that you are proud of your looks or you did not cause it or it is healthy, none of which is true.
This is not to say we should pick on obese people or single them out. Its just to say the option to be thinner is with them but they have no will power to use it.

Yes there is such a thing as being obese and healthy, not according to those skinny narrow minded idiots thou. But I'll have you know i have had 2 natural, healthy, trouble free pregnancy's as an obese person (doctor's poxy words not mine) and my sister who is supposed to be healthy according to her size has had 2 terrible, trouble from beginning to end pregnancy's. I am as fit and well has she is at half my size. And i have never had any problems what soever getting a guy and still now it's me who always gets the guys when we go out on our girlie nights! I look just as nice as the skinny Minnie's. Besides one mans food is another mans poison.

As far as nice looking goes, lot depends on your grooming and dress. Look at Marianne Sagebrecht in the movies "Bagdad Cafe", "Rosalie Goes Shopping" etc. She is obese but dresses well in designs that suit her, and walks like she owns the earth. She obviously has a good self image and hasn't bought into the "fat equals worthless" mentality.
Healthy...that's another issue. If a person is extremely overweight they are placing huge demands on their body (heart, respiratory, kidneys, joints, etc.). They may be OK for many years but they will wear out young.
Some of us with weight problems are finding out just how hard it is to lose weight and keep it off...there can be metabolic problems as well as just eating too much. True, some opt out and say "I don't care" but I don't believe that...we all care how we look, fat, thin or just in between.

No. Obese is by definition unhealthy. You may look nice, but your body doesn't function as well as it could without the excess fat.
Obesity is a condition in which the natural energy reserve of humans or other mammals, which is stored in fat tissue, is expanded far beyond usual levels to the point where it impairs health. Obesity in wild animals is relatively rare, but it is common in domestic animals like pigs and household pets who may be overfed and underexercised. In humans it is considered a major challenge to health.

obese: An abnormally high, unhealthy amount of body fat.

I'm afraid not.
That's a factual answer and not a merely subjective one.
Obesity is, by it's very definition, morbity. Someone who is clinically obese cannot be healthy.
Whether they can be "nice-looking" is, I guess, a matter of opinion. Some cultures still force-feed young women to make them fat as that is considered attractive, but the young women grow into middle-aged women with a shorter life expectancy and can look forward to heart disease, diabetes, problems with their joints, immobility and all of the awful things that go with these.
There are, tragically, plenty of dubious websites where "chubby-chasers" can indulge their attractions.
Healthy is better, and part of healthy is appropriate weight-for-gender/height.

Yes, I eat a very healthy diet, rarely drink and don't smoke, I dont eat processed or frozen foods, all fresh foods, lean meat and fish. I don;t take sugar, or eat cakes and biscuits but I have always been larger, sz 20-22. I can walk for miles and not get breathless, I can swim for hours, and enjoy a very healthy sex life! being larger does nto stop me from doing anything. I have good skin, no wrinkles, and rarely wear make up, my hair is always shiny and my nails good. I never get spots, or any womens problems, have not seen a GP for nearly 3 years with anything major, just the occasional flu in winter. My cholesterol is low, way lower than my teetotal vegatarian non smoking mother, who is a small size 12, I also have absolutetly normal blood pressure readings

you can be obese and nice looking, you can be nice looking and healthy, butthe word obese is a medical word for being unhealthily overweight. you can be overweight and healthy, but the word obese doesn't just mean overweight.
