Small ribbons or anything that looks like Disney is a BAD idea. However, a tasteful ribbon around a ponytail or as a head band isn't bad.

I don't think so. It depends on how it looks. If the ribbon is not a goo complimenting color to the womans skin,hair or clothing color, then obviously it's not going to look attractive. plus it also depends on the way the hair is...is it bid a curly?frizzy? poofy?straight? Many things go into consideration. Try a nice loose curl and a black satin ribbon with the tie or bow at the bottom of your hair where your neck is.

For the most part I'd have to say yes. Bows and ribbons in ones hair are kinda of Pollyanna-ish for a grown woman.

If those around you do not, then it would be considered weird. No matter whether it is out-dated, or old-fashioned.
Unless, you can pull it off, but that usually takes luck in the physical department and lots of talent.

it depends n how it is styled and worn...if you are talking about wearing it like a seventh grade cheerleader then yes it's out dated...but if it is a scarf or a tie for a low pony tail no...

It is my opinion that not at all. If you like it and it makes you look good go ahead. i still wear head bands and things there is nothing wrong with that!!!!!

I don't know but the person who wants to wear it shouldn't care either way! It's their hair, nobody else's. They can do what they want.
