I dont want to wear a poofy veil I like drop veils like the one in the link the problem is I think a tiara will look stupid on top or underneath this veil for that reason I want to wear a small crown on top of the veil. Where can I find one? Will this look right? I will be wearing gloves and my hair will be pulled into a neat Chignon. Will this make me look like an idiot?

You can find a crown to attach to the veil or to wear separately at just about any craft store, fabric store or any store that sells wedding stuff.

As for not being sure how people will view it, don't sweat it. It's your wedding and you can do whatever you want. Anyone who has a problem with that has a problem with a lot of other stuff. Do whatever you like and whatever will make you feel like a princess/queen for the day!

I think you should consider a different veil. Have you seen the movie "the Princess Diaries II" ? The veil she wore at the end of the movie was GORGEOUS!!

In my opinion (because that IS what you're asking for, after all), this type of veil is really lame. It shows no imagination, and is very limited in its versatility. I would really consider going to a bridal shop and looking at alternatives. I had a double-layer veil (blusher that went over the tiara for the ceremony then was tossed back), but that was me.
Here's another thought: are you REALLY willing to pay over $30 for this scrap of material??

I don't think a tiara under that veil would look stupid. The thing to do is go to a bridal shop and try different looks on. That way you know for sure. You can find rhinestone crowns very easily on eBay.

A crown is too over the top. You'll get negative attention for such a fashion statement. I suggest for you to go to a bridal shop and try on some tiaras and veils and see what is that you would like.

Congratulations and good luck

I can't tell if you're serious or not. But hey, this is YOUR wedding. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. And they all understand that. This is YOUR day.

But personally, veils are on the way out. And many woman aren't wearing them anymore. The tiara? If you want to, go for it.

This is the only day in your life when it's not only okay, but expected to be ALL ABOUT YOU! :-)

I think you should go to A David's bridal and try on these veils there in front of a mirror they should have all types of fittings for veils. My personal opinion is don't wear it that way it looks a little out dated, try one that can drape down underneath your hair do so it doesn't look poofy it looks elegant

I'd suggest a silver-toned crown... you could try searching costume jewelry sites or maybe even some Halloween shops for adult costumes. Not every crown looks tacky... do something you'll love and something that's worth remembering.

Don't stress yourself over every little detail. Most people will remember the ceremony and the overall feeling, not what shoes you were wearing or what type of embellishments were on your lovely head.

It is your day wear what you want

and I like it, the veil is elegant and a small crown or tiara will be beautiful

Oh and congratulations and best wishes in your future life with the one you love.

I think a tiara would look better than a crown with this. Although you should wear whatever you like on your wedding; don't choose something that will make you feel uncomfortable.

I wouldn't wear the tiara AND the veil. Choose one or the other. If you do both it will be too much.
