The Navy is currently looking for individuals with a 3.5 or Higher GPA in strong Technical fields like Comp Sci, math and Engineering..chemical, electrical and Physics.

it is EXTREMELY competetive and you need to have an edge up on the others who are competing for the same few slots.

and it isn't a region.. more like the entire country...took my husband 4 years and two tries before he was accepted.. and he was already enlisted in the Navy at the time.

Don't really know about the difficulty, however I do know that anything worth having in life is worth the effort. Sometimes what is hard for one is easy for someone else.
Go to NAVY.COM and see what area you would be interested in. I would suggest you visit this site before talking to a recruiter too.

The web site has an FAQ section and a section where you may ask questions too.

Good Luck!

Depends what your degree is in, if it is a technical degree like engineering or similar it should be extremely easy. If it is something lame like liberal arts good luck.

Very easy, go for it. After all, it is only the Navy.
