I had my gallbladder out some 34 years ago and i still have diarrea.. I think that he is going to have to learn that when ever he sticks something in his mouth that he better be close to a bathroom, and or keep a change of undies with him at all time.. I haven't been able to figure this one out. but I do know that when mine isn't diarrea that i am getting sick or something now..
sorry to say but i think when the took the gallbladder out they put in a straight pipe from the food going in and the food coming out.
I asked my doctor that and he laughed.
they don't tell you this before surgery..
good luck in planning your days around where the closest bathrooms are.
I know it isn't funny but i have been going through this forever.
let me know if you find something that will help him in this..
