I like this guy and when I told him I didn't believe in sex before marriage he told me he didn't either. I don't know if he's for real or it's just a load of bull to get me to sleep with him. Do guys like him really exist?

What I would suggest for this is to ask people he knows about what he's really like. Because if you talk to people that have known him for a while you might be better able to gage how he really is.
Yes there are people that believe the same thing you do, however they are VERY few and far between. See if you can talk to his family members, friends, and people that have known him for a while.

Yes there is! I had this belief before but not now. What is sex in marriage? Sex is not love! Its just like when someone likes you and he knows you like chocolate, he will bring chocolate for you because he wants to make you feel good! he won't give chocolate like that to any other person. Giving you chocolate is just a way for him to express his love to you. Chocolate is not love! Similarly sex is a means of expressing one's love for each other. Sex is only a physical pleasure just like you feel good when you taste chocolate! Sex is not important in the marriage issue! What is important is the mutail belief and faith you have in your partner. Only when you have total faith on each other will your marriage be successful. It does not depend on whether you have had sex before your marriage! Open-minded person will never ask this question! However, for people who are short-minded (am sorry to say that), if a girl says she is for sex after marriage means she don't have full trust on her man, but if a boy says that, then it means he loves her and is ready to wait until after marriage because he trusts her! well, if a boy is saying that to you, I believe you should stick firmly to your principle and do not get carried away! However, I still believe and I will maintain, if you want to have a happy married life, understand your partner first and have complete confidence on each other! Sex, although its great, stands no where!

Hey, only one way to find out, and that's by staying with him. If and when he tries to sleep with you, be prepared to stand up for what you believe in and not settle for a man who is just trying to get in your pants.
But to answer your other question, yes, men like this do exist and don't let the cynics tell you otherwise. However, that doesn't take away YOUR responsibility to wait in this relationship, or to wait for the man who will wait with you. Not just because you are forcing him to, but because that is really what he believes too.

If this guy is real, then he will wait and not push to have sex. When I was in high school I dated this girl who said the same thing and I was oblivious to exactly what would happen. We dated for over 4 years and then one night she put it on me and wanted to do it, but after four years (and not really talking about it) I said no. Trust me, I wanted to, but at that point it became awkward. I wasn't ready. And five years later, I'm still not sure if I'm ready.

Yes, there are some guys out there that don't believe in sex before marriage. Don't jump to any conclusions. Believe what he is saying until he gives you a reason not to.

yes, this can be for real.
My best friend's husband was still a virgin on their wedding night. He's not a weirdo or anything - he's a great guy!! Not ALL guys think with only their di*ks, some guys can see beyond that and make a choice to wait for marriage if it's what they believe in.

i don't really know but i believe in sex after marriage and i am a guy. it's not crap because a lot of my buddies do feel the same thing. most of my friends are virgins and we are mid-20s. BTW, i'm somewhere in South East Asia not in the States but i do believe they are still a few guys in the US believe in sex after marriage.

If your freinds fine then its most likeley bull guys say that to make the girl feel respected then they sleep with them because the girl loves him even more. Most likely its Bull but there is a few that are cool like that.

Yes some guys do believe in that. Consider yourself lucky in a way. For example my current bf wouldn't have sex with me until I am really really ready but that's me want him more hehe However just don't do it to be on the safe side ;)

Its what you wanted but when you got it you weren't happy. You need to decide what you really want. If you want a guy like that you should be aware that there is usually a reason and its usually not good. Some are gay. Some have really small weenies. Some are religious or any combo of those three.
