I have found that it is polite to bring your own imaginary friend along so that other people with pukkas won't feel awkward. :)

When kids say things like that or when I say it to elderly people? From the 'adult' perspective, I am unimpressed at your emerging ability to think abstractly. Nor am I shocked at what you say. This is something that has no need to be discussed at Grandma's house. When you say it I am bored.
