Real Christians don't' teach their kids to believe in Santa. Chalk me up as another brought up in a non-Christian home who became born again as an adult.
I want to edit this answer.
Some Christians do teach their children about Santa. But it is not a good idea. As a follower of Christ, who taught us not to lie, why would they deliberately mislead a child? Also, the child will probably wonder if they can believe other things their parents tell them if they lie about this.

I dont, the pure fact that people still believe in Jesus after 2000yrs says to me that Jesus must have been pretty awesome. Parents don't force their children to believe in anything, when you are confirmed it is of your own choice, actually. Santa really doesn't have anything to do with Christianity, the kid might just be gullable. I think you should look up the facts.

Sometimes, yes, I do think it's funny.
Then I realize that naive home-schooled kid controls the nuclear arsenal of the United States. It gets a little less funny at that point.

First off my parents never told me about God jesus or any of that so your wrong about that just like your wrong in saying God doesn't exist. If you choose to believe this which we both know you know he is real you just want to do things your way, then keep that to yourself . It'snot my fault your parents didn't show you enough love that's the real reson why you hate God so be real and realize the truth God is real and wheter or not you choose to believe this He will still be real and you will answer to him one day those are the facts sorry so deal with it.

1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
Neither he nor his word can be diminished or supplied by our response or reaction. He is the same. He abideth forever. So does his word (Mk. 13:31; Heb. 13:8). And "he that doeth the will of God abideth forever" (1 Jn. 2:17). That is spoken with the support and foundation of the word of his power and the power of his word. Let no man despise it (Titus 2:15).

Interesting concept and example. Unfortunately, illusions and beliefs, such as that you have described, are not peculiar to just 'Christianity.' The kid in your example was subject to a stupid parent, who didn't do a very good job @ homeschooling or parenting. I agree, "poor kid."
Besides, your example of Santa is a poor one for exemplifying your topic on Christianity.

U r not wrong dear but, telling stories is a habit of mankind and is going on since man started expressing himself by language. So do not believe in Santha. But santha alone can not be christianity. One should always believe in God whether u see him or not.All religions in the world teach humanity.Who so ever is not religious is like an unconrolled horse.Religion keeps man peaceful and human. Those who do not understand their own religion are anarchists rather they are animals in the form of humans. So if you are a christian, you are a lucky guy.I am a hindu and our religion is one of the oldest religion in the world.I respect Christ. So dear one believe in santha or not, but believe in christ and God.

It's funnier that people think it's mythology.
And why pick on Santa? I just saw him last week and he may not have you on his route this year, so be warned. Oh yeah, I don't celebrate Christmas, I forgot.
