I'm seeing this guy that is in prison. He asked me to marry him. We are in love, but I kinda want to wait until he gets out to marry him. Most everyone else says he may just be using me while he is in jail and then when he gets out he's going to ditch me. What do you think? Should I wait until he gets out to marry him so I can see if he's for real and make sure he doesn't leave me?

How are you SEEING a guy who is in prison??? I find it absolutely impossible to believe that there is no other man around that couldn't develop a relationship with you.

Why do you think that mostly everyone would say he's trying to marry you while he's in jail? It also looks more favorable to the parole board!!

I'm sorry, but I don't think you should wait until he gets out... I think you should go ahead and break the bad news to him NOW! You can't marry him...

Oh yeah KC, great idea. Let's start out in life with a marriage where the guy is in prison. Now that's real smart. Oh, and when he gets out his job prospects will be so good as an ex con that let's buy a big house and have lots of kids.

Wait until he gets out to see what his true intentions are. Why would you lower your standards to the point where the best guy you can find is in jail?

Easy answer... NO. Wait till he is out of prison. If is not free enough to choose when he wants to hang out with you and make life critical decisions you should not be marring them I believe.

You may as well wait. It's not like you're getting a house together until he gets out. And it may be possible that your feelings will change about him before he gets out. You might not like him once he's not locked up.

Hell no..if the person cannot function in society, how will they function as a spouse.

If someone has spent time in prison and matured and learned from the experience than that is something different.

i wouldnt honestly he only wnts you to think that so that way you can support him while he's locked up by sending him money and stuff like that then when he gets out if he still wants to marry you than you'll be the provider so either way your screwed. don't be tha dumb one no offense im just keeping it real your girl lovelysaphirequeen.
