It's going to hurt no matter what day you decide to break up but I can tell you that it will be most memorable for the rest of the guys life everytime his birthday comes up. I would recommend you do it before or after the birthday. Be kind. Some day it could happen to you.

It depends on the situation. If he cheated on you then no, and if that's the case, that would really help you get your piont across. However I'm not going to judge a situation that I know nothing about. If I had a few more details I would beable to give you more info on that. But I very much doubt that you would do something like that to someone without a VERY good reason.

Happy Birthday Honey, we need to talk.
It is not very nice, but I was broken up with once on April Fool's Day. I really did not know if it was a joke or not until the next day. BTW, it wasn't.

Yeah thats pretty mean you could have waited a day couldnt you?
If you dont want to be with someone thats fine but dont wreck a special day like that. His birthday is suppose to be a great day. You Honestly shouldnt have done that!!!

no it does not it just makes you an insensitive girl because if the guy loved/liked you next year on his birthday he will be thinking of what you did ti him last year.he will despise his birthday forever and never celebrate his birthday ever again. do you want that to happen to him?

No. If it's a bad relationship, it's better to end it sooner than sticking it out because it's a holiday or a birthday.

No way darlin! i did the same thing but he had it comming he was playboy anyway.
I'm quite sure you had good reasons for breaking up with him. Get all done up and hit the town with your friends, leave the guilt behind as you deserve better.

I bet that wasn't the birthday present he had in mind.
I would say it was a little tasteless to do so on his birthday.
