Age is only a state of mind. You are freaking over seven years????!!!! Back up and start thinking again. Your mental age would be that of a man 10 to 15 years older than you. Don't cry; go for him. He is still trainable.

screw age difference! Who cares what everyone else thinks!? U are legal adult, honey, you are legally old enough to make your own decisions, and to crawl into whomever's arms you choose (as long as they are legal too). Your fam may have issues with it at first, but in the end....it'll be ok. My cousin's husband is 11 yrs. older than her..... My best friends husband is 14 years older than her! My husband had just turned 18 when I met him just days before my 21 birthday...... I ALMOST didn't date him because of the age difference..... I'm so glad I did, he is the best thing that ever happened to me!

aww dont cry.
listen, if youre legal dont worry about it.
age doesnt matter at all. its the person and how they treat you and how they make you feel. dont worry about what everyone else says. they are just being stupid. again, age doesnt matter. the only way age would matter was if he was like 40 years older than you and then that would be sick. do dont worry about all those dumb people who are telling you hes too old. hes not. seven years between you guys is no biggie. just as long as you love him, then it shouldnt matter.

Seven years older --- is not a big deal.
Are you compatible -- do you believe you can enjoy his companionship?
If it's your friends saying he's too old, tell them thanks for your opinion, but I think he's worth the effort.
After all, it's you who needs to be happy ... not your friends.
So don't cry -- give him a call -- ask him out for dinner, lunch or coffee and let nature take its course.

it really depends how old you are. if you say you're "legal" you must be around 18 years old. if thats the case then yes you are too young. you both are at different psychological points in life. if you were older i would say its okay, because a gap of 7 years is not that big. but not at this point.

I don't think it should matter what everyone else says. If you are legal and you like him then ask him out. But if you are not legal then that could cause some big problems. Is he interested in you? If you don't know then tread carefully. Good luck.

don't cry instead pull yourself together and head straight to the guy and tell him how you feel.age is just a number, and you are of legal age ,people who are telling you he is too old are not feeling what you feeling .so i suggest you stop caring what people and do what is right for you.

Don't listen to anyone but your heart. If you care for him then tell him or else you will go on your life wondering if he was Mr. Right and everyone else told you he was Mr. Wrong. This is your life, enjoy it, and let no-one stand in your way.

Then just cry. God damn, stop listening to other people and just do what you want. My friend is 20 and she dates a 34 year old. You being LEGAL and him older isn't an issue unless YOU make it one. People are stupid, stop listening to them or just take all their advice and let them live your whole life.
