I think it's great that you decided to start your own business. If you're serious about it you'll do great. Just decide now to be persistent and put in the work to make it succeed.
'm just going to give you a quick word of advice since I can see a little what you're doing here.
I understand that you just became an affiliate of this website. That's great and the wedding business is huge, however just having this site isn't going to make you money unless you market it right, and that means targetting prospects, (e.g. brides looking for a specific kind of topper, or a specific type of dress, etc.) The more specific you are the better you'll do.
One thing that you should be weary of is having a replicated site because search engines look down on that and won't list you high. There are ways to get around this, such as having a blog that then points to your site.

There's a wealth, let me repeat wealth of info in there that you'll need. Instead of buying a bunch of products on marketing go there first and do a search. Sometimes you'll need specialized knowledge and that's cool then to buy a "how to" product.
One other piece of advice is to make sure to watch your competition, see what they're doing, and if it looks good copy it. Don't rip it off, just figure out a way to use there method as it pertains to your business.
Another good way is to buy other peoples products in your market, and see how they follow up.

I am a caterer and I would like to get into my own business..caterings go with wedding right??And I have also been practicing on decorating wedding cakes...I do other cakes but wedding cakes scare me ...but I am getting better at it!!! so please talk to me I am very interested in what all you do!
