it is not approximately you that's approximately your daughter. Your ex husbands spouse is now your daughters step mom. you should recover from it and save peace for sooner or later. Why might you intentionally reason your daughter such unfavorable rigidity at what's meant to be this form of happy time. the only individual who has the ultimate to "not pick her there" is your daughter and then she desires to be mature sufficient to justify that determination to her father and step-mom. i assume you does not pick this women persons around "your" grandchildren too? you're being very very selfish to not point out infantile. in keeping with risk you should pay for the completed wedding ceremony.

fear not your grandchild is safe, as far as transmitting it to their children:

Females have two X chromosomes and thus have double the chance of having a working FMR1 allele. Females carrying one X chromosome with an expanded FMR1 gene can have some signs and symptoms of the disorder or be normal.

Males with the fragile X cannot transmit it to any of their sons (since males contribute a Y chromosome, not an X, to their male offspring.)

i would have the baby tested first thing after it's born so then you and your daughter would know what to do from there. there's a 50% chance that the child could inherit
