Destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar II in the sixth century B.C., it was later ruled by Greeks, Romans, Persians, Arabs, Crusaders, and Turks and by Great Britain under a League of Nations mandate. Israeli forces took control of the city in 1967. Jerusalem is considered a holy city to Jews, Muslims, and Christians.
Some one enlighten me regarding the Holy Land in Jerusalem..who's taking control now? who should be the rightful one?

FYI
when that particular land was in the hands of Muslims, they did not prevent anyone from going there and doing pilgrimage.
when Christians captured the land, they turned the place into bloodshed. Fifty years later Muslims captured the land again and they gave every body the freedom to visit.
Now Israel is killing babies there, they are barbarians and caused chaos.
They have been ther 4 60 years approx with out the right to.

Jerusalem was controlled by the Muslims, until recently jews created a new state in 1948 parellel to the Palesine and called it Israel. During the creation of this terrorist state, thousands of palestinians were killed and expelled from their lands. They had to leave their homes and seek refuge in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt...etc
Imagine somebody comes to in front of your house with a big bulldozer and asks you to leave. After your refusal they destroy your house and even kills your family members. And not only that, in the place where your house was they start to build a new house for the occupiers. What would you do?
Don't think that those suicide bombers are just exploding themselves for fun. They are doing it because nobody cares about them, nobody wants to help them, in contrast US is constantly supplying Israel with the latest bombs, tanks, planes to kill more civilians. Don't you think after this kind of foreign policy any muslim will like US Government? Israel? or G.Bush? I don't think so.

Unfortunetly people take the word Israel in the Bible and transpose it to today's map of the world. Israel was a people, 12 tribes, originating in Judea, this made them Jewish.
Israel is not a country when it is written in the Bible. It is important to keep this in mind, this is why I believe there are so many wars there, and so much conflict everyone wants a piece of Israel, but really, all you have to do is believe in Jesus Christ and accept him as your Saviour. Amen

No. It was to punish Mohamed for not handing over Jerusalem as agreed to by the then pope and Mohamed. After all, his religion is a mix of Catholicism and his local paganism. And just how did catholicism inter into his religion? The pope had a NUN marry Mohamed and through her Mohamed got money and arms for his conquest of the middle east with the proviso that he hand over Jerusalem when it came time to do so.

There can be no rightful "owner" of Jerusalem with three religions having roots there. It should be shared. That may seem hard to do, but try it, for the sake of peace.

Our ancestors were the dumbest people in the universe. They built walls among us instead of uniting the whole world. They divided every person in all aspects.
I don't care about religion, god and any of those scriptures anymore.

Simple solution. Give the control of Jerusalam to UN. Make it open to Christians Muslims Jews and let them do what they believe is right according to their religion.
