just because guys do it doesnt mean you can. You can shine all you want but all people will do is call you a whore
and yes, this is a crude answer but its a doublesided societry. Girls cant have the same fun that guys do.
This isnt the solution if your goal is to stop getting hurt. The way to stop getting hurt is to find a guy who respects you, and sleeping around and partying like a guy isnt going to help you in that department. the only reason im saying this is because ive been there, i felt the same way after my boyfriend of 2 years and i broke up.
Take the advice that someone else left: Date an older guy. Not too old, just a couple years older than you. That way you CAN have the cake and eat it too.

I have to agree with you. All my friends tell me how great I am and can't believe that I'm single, but everytime I get into anything I get burned. I always wonder if it is something I am doing wrong, or if I just have radar for bad relationships.
Guys go through it too. I have met a lot of great guys who have been hurt.
You do deserve the cake and eat it too.

That's not true, I have been burned a few time but I am not going to disrespect myself by sleeping around because someone did it to me. How can it be "your time to shine" when you become a hoe? What is so great in that? Keep yourself respect and don't join the crowed.
