I use GHD's and find that doing smaller sections is better, my hair's pretty prone to going V curly, but having a bit of patience has worked wonders!

Instead of a relaxer try getting a body wave on the largest rods you can get. You might even want to try combing wave solution through your hair and this will only relax it slightly to the point that you'll be able to blow dry it straight. And then if you want to let it stay curly just scrunch as you blow dry. It really is the best way to be able to have it either way without a ton of work depending how you want it that day. Best of all it won't fry your hair the wa a perm or relaxer would.

Whenever i blow dry my hair the same thing happens. But with a ceramic flat iron its straighter longer. But make sure its not some cheap 1 its got to be ceramic and over 30$. I luv my flat iron and not to be conceded or any thing but Ive got long shiny black hair :)

I bought one of those at home perm kits and put the solution in my hair. Instead of putting in the curlers, my aunt just combed it straight for the time amount the kit said to leave the solution in. It worked.

ghd's? What is that?
I use a curling iron or flat iron and a finishing spray or serum or something, to keep the humidity from getting to it.

You need a good flat iron. Before ironing your hair use a straightening serum and after you iron use a little more.
