For a Christian not standing strong in God's word, opening these religious questions and reading lies could possibly make them lose their faith. Christians need to know what they believe and why they believe it. At times when I've opened some of these questions and read things that confused me, I have questioned what I believe, but it does not make me lose faith. I can go to other Christians such as my husband, my family, people from my church, and my pastor to find help in understanding the truth. Questions strengthen my faith when I search and discover the truth according to God's word.

Yes, I am aware of what you mean. I am a Christian but I don't want to impose my belief system on anyone unless they ask. Christians will not lose their faith on anything that is said in a derogatory manner on this Yahoo site or any other. But, I understand your feeling. Just let your fear go and be proud of what you are. Don't be afraid to answer a question you believe in.

I am a christian and I won't lose my faith because of what some poor misguided soul says on here. It only makes me very sad for them. Some of the answers make my blood run cold to know satan is alive and well and fooling many people. All us christians can do is pray for them.

If a question on Yahoo Answers is enough to shake your faith, maybe you shouldn't be a believer in the first place.

It's normal to feel discouraged sometimes. When I get like that I just spend some time alone with Him in His word or listen to some worship cds. Anything that feeds me and gets me back to the right place where I can give again.

How sad that people value faith more than they value knowledge, and so will intentionally shield themselves from knowledge in order to protect faith.

Faith in what?
Great question!
Please consider these tidbits:
Jews for Jesus = Vegetarians for Hamburgers
God? He or She?
Church? Christianity? Jesus? Dying?
What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?
Does Imacculate Conception have anything to do with "VIRGIN BIRTH"?
Google Imacculate Conception and learn that is NOT.
What else do you falsely believe?
Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Can Gods die?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?
Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?
No Eternal sacrifice, big deal for a day!
If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.
If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!
Life after death is like virginity after childbirth.
If the flesh of Jesus died, what was seen walking and talking on Sunday?
If you believe this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to believe it too to validate you.
Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.
Believing and not thinking is like choosing to be lost.
P.S.
[Do Christians on Yahoo! answers feel righteous when they report questions they disagree or disapprove of?

Hey that's cool, nine of pentacles I agree with you, that certain participants report abuse just because they don't like the answer or question, which in itself is abuse just consider the source, narrow minded and pompous .]

it might depend on what "type" of christian you are referring to...
its always hard to read between the lines and guess what the person who's asking the question is referring to... when they write down the word "christian" (capitalized or not)
is it just me, or is anybody out there as lost as i am (when it comes to this issue)?
