Does God love and accept me, even though I don’t believe?
And if he does, then why don’t Christians feel the same?

I'm still trying to figure out if God is an external reality or a symbol. So I'm not sure if it loves you or not. I'm a big help aren't I?

As for Christians it seems like a significant number of them feel that insulting, judging and condemn people is synonymous with loving them. Personally if that is love, they can keep it to themselves.

Oh, but what does love mean? Whether the emotion, the feeling, the action, or whether in youth, toward children, what you need, what another desires, or in twilight years, what does love mean to you, in all these cases?

But you know what love is without analysis, don't you? So maybe the better question is, do you feel that God loves you?

How can you, for as you say, you do not know Him? Neither of you have a relationship. You must thinking, give me a break, how can you have a relationship with a spiritual being that you have not met, and do not believe in?

Well until you do take a step to understand who God is and why so many people believe in Him, you will be baffled. So if you want to meet God and see if you want a relationship, I'd suggest psalms (empathy on the issues of life) and proverbs (gaining wisdom) is a great place to start, for they are very useful and still very general.

Personally, I do not read any more than 1 chapter at a time, and then think to see how it applies to me. Couple this with 15-30 minutes of prayer: words of worship (i.e., for the life you have and the beauty of the universe), then honestly confess issues (great catharsis, gives perspective), give sincere thanks (for the good you have), and then supplication for your needs (asking to have your needs and desires met, and how).

Keep a dairy and do this for 30 days. You might find this gives you a peace that surpasses understanding, and a greater power for living. As a minimum, you will learn. As a maximum, you will start a journey of personal and spiritual growth that you will never regret.

Then once you try to meet and understand God, you will be able to answer your question, whether or not He loves you.

As far as other believers, the most dedicated believers in the Old Testament were the Pharisees and Sanhedrin, and Christ despised them because of how judgemental they were and how they wore their "Religion" as a halo for all to see. They missed the message and a lot of Christians do also.

Here is a quote that differentiates personal faith, and religionism:

“Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise. During almost fifteen centuries, the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in laity; in both, superstition, bigotry, and persecution.” – James Madison, 4th President of the United States

versus,

“All sects are different, because they come from men; morality is everywhere the same, because it comes from God.” – Voltaire

“Say nothing of my religion. It is known to God and myself alone. Its evidence before the world is to be sought in my life: if it has been honest and dutiful to society the religion which has regulated it cannot be a bad one.” – Thomas Jefferson

“God enters by a private door into every individual.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Yes God loves you thats why he sent his Son, Its your Choice to accept Jesus Christ. What dont you believe. And why? I am open to any other question, you can email me any time if you would like but only if you are serious about learning the the truth. All Christians are not the same, some have grown and matured faster than others. John 3 verse 16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotton Son that whoever should believe in him should not perish but have eternal life.

How can you ask someone to love you if you don't even believe in him in the first place? Does't your unbelief nullify everything you claim you're asking for?

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world (that includes you and me) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

If that isn't love, then I don't know what is.

Jesus came and died for you so you can have eternal life. But unless you believe and accept that He died for you, God will neither accept you. Christians didn't say this. Jesus did.

John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Your personal belief system has nothing to do with the laws of the universe. You may not believe in gravity, but jump off a building and you'll fall to the ground.

There is an origin for all that you see. Whatever name you want to assign to it, it is still an intense energy from which all matter is formed, including you. Spiritual traditions would describe this energy as God/Love/Light, physics would just call it light.

In any case, you are in fact a direct manifestation of the Love of the Creator. The Creator loves you as a part of himself and he grants you the gift of freedom to adopt any belief system you want. Nothing you can do, or say, or believe, will interfere with the Creator's love of you. The only guarantee in the universe is an eventual re-uniting with the indescribable joy and infinite love of the Creator, but you can take as long on your journey there as you want.

Of course He does. Accepting Him brings you into a personal relationship with Him. He loves you so much that He died for you. There is no greater love. If you have a Bible start reading the Book of John. It will explain everything. God Bless.

No one really knows, Katy Kat. Just be a good person and hope for the best, if there is an afterlife with a ruler of some kind. I don't hurt anybody and am kind most of the time to people and animals. So, hopefully our disbelief will not damn us like the fundies say it will. I figure if it does, I'm better off without being in the presence of a judgemental ****** for eternity anyways.

Yes he does, but dont you think it hurts him that no matter how much he loves you that you never return any love to him or gratitude for his son's death to gain victory over your sins? If you never accept his love all thats left is his judgement. And speaking as a christian...christians should love you too for it is the command of god to love you.

John 13:33-35 (King James Version)
33Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

yes, He loves you . even though you don't believe . but He will not accept you into his kingdom with you not believing . as far as the Christians , i am a christian , and i try to love everyone . yes , even the lost . i was lost myself at one time , all Christians were . its not that we don't love the non- believer its that we know where they are headed . and that's what we don't want to accept. we don't want anyone to go to hell, and that means you, for not believing. God Bless and accept the Truth in Jesus Christ.

Sure... I think they believe you should reciprocate. Some by your words and others would like to see it in your actions. Just cause you don't believe in something doesn't mean it is true :) Some folks didn't believe the world was spherical as opposed to flat. I'm not sure where I'm going with this any more. I hope you have fun, enjoy your work, life, and family.
Best of luck to you.
