God is a Trinity. The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the Son of God, in the beginning of the bible he is spoken of as the Word, so you can safely say that Jesus is God. No one goes to the Father except through Jesus, He died on the cross for us, pray to him, ask him for enlightenment and you will receive it. God Bless

Considering God is the "father" of Jesus then there is a difference. Jesus has been of the human flesh where God has not. God is more powerful but you have to go through Jesus to be able to communicate with God.

God (the father), Jesus (Son of God) & the holy spirit are all one... They are like a triangle, it has three sides but it is atlast one triangle & like you, you are a heart, mind & soul... Do I call you as three or one?
The father, Jesus & the holy spirit are equilvilent in every thing, just like an equilateral triangle, 3 equal sides & 3 equal angles so non is more powerful than the other!

God is a much more 'vast' and powerful being. Jesus is more personable and since he was a human, understands human limitations and suffering.

God - The Creator
Jesus - The Messenger, prophet, normal human being.
God is greater, in fact God is Greatest (Allahu Akbar). I hope that answers your question.
