i ask this question because when people say that it kinda makes me mad, a lot of bad stuff has happened to me in the past couple of months to the point where i no longer belived in god, and i pleaded with him and every night i would go down on my knees and beg him, but nothing changed and my life is still horrible. so how can god be good all the time when all these bad things happen and nothing good comes out of it?

I believe that God - or whoever one may believe in created us - and gives us our own will - and some do evil with that will and some do good.

If this god you speak of is real, Then this god is very evil. I believe all gods are the same if there is one. If there are many all gods would be at war with each other and would not have time to mess with us because we are simply a candle stick with no real value when compared to his problems.
So being god is real they why should you follow a god that kills so many people. Most every one dies in the name of religion and religion is god right? So he is not good ever. God is the extreme evil in the world. If believers in god would put down their arms there would be no more war and maybe no more killings at all.
God is evil full time. He is so busy being evil and keeping the wars going that he has no time for being good at anything but evil.
God is not real. So be real and understand that.

If you study the word God, Holy and the other names that God has that are listed in the Bible than you will find that His name is perfect, truly good, sinless, pure, etc.
Yes, I believe He is good all the time, but does allow certain things to happen in life- at times we do not understand the meanings behind His works.

All respects to each individual beliefs, First I am not a "religious" person although I am a very spiritual person Love my ultimate authority being GOD, which I am very comfortable as calling Father. Whom is love and loves You and I.I find it is in our making and looking away from this great source of love info and grace is when it begins to hurt. Many spiritual booksand also reading some good eastern phylosophy matereal helped me. Karma, a simple example.I am a christian looking for some of the same answeres. GOD,love you. It's you who must let Him. Take care.

Yes I do. The bible says that evil is the work of the devil. God does allow the Devil to do his work for the greater good of man kind. He does everything for a reason and we must trust that otherwise our life has no meaning and nothing good will come of it.

I probbally write this in arabic because there no spelling in english
If u read the original1 than u will be very scare to make a misktake urself1st is = Zabur which is handed to the prophet of Daud
2nd is = Taurat which is handed to the prophet of Musa
3rd is = Injil(Bible) that is handed to the prophet of Isa which u guyz called him as Jessus
4th = Al-Quran that is handed to the prophet of Muhammad that is secured until the doomsday
the 1st, 3 kitab is not being used by Islam today because most of them is have been change by the human their self but al-quran Allah our god have give us gurrenty that it will not be change by human till the doomsday and if it would change now some1 will notice about it..and that hav been proven many times...
this means that Islam actually exist a long time ago be4 Christian was created but somehow the guidiance hav been change by the people because history says that the payback that Allah will give is very scary thats why u will see in bible there are only a little bit of part that is telling about the pay back that the god will give us...

see what i meant on u guyz says that God is good all the time...thats whats u guyz all r been teach from child...try to think logically why do volcano erruption occurs,tsunami, eathquake, tornadoes...mother nature there no mother no mother in nature only god control it all whether ur in what religion. If not than why do we call him god if he can only control 1 thing?.....depends if ur guyz allways do the right thing than u'll may be safe but if u do something bad than u get the payback also....
ermm about the devil thing....Devil does not make anything but disturb people in their religion...the dont make any tsunamis and all that

ok if u say that theres other force is controlling the world..wouldnt they be fighting aginst each other...because u know that both of them r powerfull why should they rule a universe with god more than 1.....

can handle everything by his own...

now thats what I want to hear respect others belief.....why dont u all follow the style of Malaysia 6 relegion stay in same country,state, school even friends together..
At school I got muslim, hindu, budha, Christian fried I got a lot of friends like them....They all seem so nice..and I like to be friends with them...in fact there no single fighting going on in our school(err once or twice a year got laa of course high school....there no fun if there no fight once or twice a year right)

yes god always do good to us ,but we do not realize it .a woman kept fast for 40 days so that her son should get a job in a particular company but he failed to get the job you know why because god was helping him to get job in a much better company so you see god is good all the time
