The colors I've chosen for my wedding are Terricotta (peach looking orange color, very soft) Peach, Champagne and Cream. I am having a big wedding in August 07 so it will be warm and there will be lots of flowers in these colors. My bridesmaids will wear champagne dresses. Good or not? I am still willing to modify

It sounds great... just it is Terra Cotta not terricotta. When you are searching for the color you may run into problems with it written as one word. For inexpensive favor holders, get the Terra Cotta pots at garden centers. They are very cheap and look great.

In fact, your colors look like the house next door: terra cotta tiles on the roof, champagne siding, and a peach door. I can tell you... it works well. Here in terra cotta country I see a lot of those combinations, however, I would consider a terra cotta dress (it looks really good on a lot of skin tones) with either champagne trim or a lighter bouquet. Champagne works well with dark skinned girls, but those of us with fair skin look horrible. Peach works well with fair skinned girls, but not that great with olive and darker tones.

Good Luck!

Sounds very pretty. Bring in all shades of peach, from nice oranges and soft pinks. I think its gorgeous when everything is arranged in varying shades of the same color. Your colors seem well thought out and coordinated. Good luck! I am sure it will be beautiful.

I had a coral, ivory and champagne wedding. The girls wore coral dressed and the guys wore champagne vests. I used silk flowers that matched the dresses perfectly. I purchased the flowers from Hobby Lobby when they had their half off stem sale.

oh my dear, your maids will have negative things in their mind and that's not what you want to start off a marriage. consider draping them as a queens maidens. take note from the dark skinned indian women from india." peach","terracotta". i don't know you and if i did, i would still advise you, no dear. how about off whites or soft creams, champagne included, but soft, soft.you said, "orange", that may have some of them finding excuses for not partaking at all. be cool, it's your happiness, it's your day, prove it, by ensuring the comfort and memories of your royal court to be unforgettable...

I was going to suggest a dark accent color like chocolate brown or black to ground the room but you just mentioned that... The colors sound good now go to the paint store and pick up paint chips(the cards with the square of color) the exact colors you want ... Keep them in your purse for handy color matching as you shop and you are set for colors...

I would pick up 4-5 of each color and metal snap rings hole punch the cards and place on rings writing main color or accent on the backs give one to your mother, one to your future mother-in-law and keep the rest for you.. Mothers and future mother-in-laws often want to buy this or that in your wedding colors and if they have the chips they can match color...

hmm..sounds like a good combo..however, I'm not too fond of the champagne coloured dresses..in the summer time you want it to be fun and flirty..champagne is a colour you cant really flirt with..its more sophisticated..
may I suggest?

PINKS:
fuscha
a pastel rose coloured pink (this would be the bridesmaid dresses)
& really light coloured pink..not baby pink..but it has to seem almost white with a tint of pink

GREENS:
baby green (bridal dresses)
soft yellows
and cream

maybe I'll leave the rest to you..those were just suggestions..I bet your colour choices will be nice..I'm just not fond of the chamapagne..good luck and Congratulations!!

I think it sounds very pretty. It is your wedding don't let people change your mind. My good friend's family and some friends gave her crap about her choice of colors teal and white and her wedding turned out beautiful! This wedding represents you and your future husband. But, anyways I think it sounds really rich, fresh colors to choose.

Sounds good to me. Have you tried looking at www.customweddingsolutions.com for accessories. I don't know if you are interested in things like ring pillows and rose petals, but they carry a lot of items that you cant get everywhere else.
