Ormo Irish Whiskey Fruit Loaf Pudding
Again this is taken from an old recipe and does not have any quantities – just make to your taste.

Ingredients:

Butter
Ormo Irish Whiskey Fruit Loaf (Mixed Fruit - Raisins, sultanas and currants – small amount if desired as the fruit loaf has these already)
Brown sugar
Cream
1 Pint of milk
Ground nutmeg and cinnamon

Method:
1. Grease a large baking dish with some butter.

2. Slice and butter the fruit loaf and lay in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle over some nutmeg and cinnamon
and some mixed fruit.

3. Layer this again and top the dish with a layer of bread slices.

4. Grate some nutmeg over this.

5. Beat an egg into the milk and pour over the pudding.Press down until the milk comes up to the top layer of bread.

6. Bake in a medium oven for 1 hour, or until the top layer of bread is browned.
