I have the bomb but I live in a condo. I can't really take everthing out of my house but I do daycare and have a 16 month old daughter. Do I have to wash all of my clothes/her clothes after? Do you have to wipe everything down? I just don't want to end up poisoning her. I was planning on rug doctoring right after but didn't know what other precautions I need to take! Thanks all!

I did read the box but am still concerned about the safety.

My dog is treated with advantage and we've done several flea baths. I vacum twice a day and am a very clean person. I figured bombing must be the only way

Wiping everything will help prevent her from ingesting anything. Seriuosly airing out the condo will help too. Washing all clothes of hers will also help. You need to leave as much in the house as possible since there may be larva, eggs, adults, etc in the clothes and stuff. Hiring a professional exterminator is better and safer than self bombing. Preventing fleas is cheaper than treating for them. Call the company who makes the flea bomb. Some bombs are "safe" and don't cause problems afterwards. Ask the company what you should do regarding your daughter.

I've had flea infestations three times. All three times from bringing a new animal that was infested into the house. Never used a bomb, they're too messy and can be dangerous. All three times I treated the animal with a store brand flea medicine and then vacuumed EVERYTHING in the house especially horizontal surfaces. Sheets and covers on chairs and the like should be washed. Worked every time. Takes about a week and you have to make sure that you continue vacuuming everyday as long as the animal has fleas or they'll just come back. Use a flea comb to check the animal everyday.

I heard this from someone don't know if it works haven't done it but they said to take table salt and sprinkle on the carpet it will kill them. Worth a try before you do the defogging and a lot saver and cheaper.

Do your pets use advantage? If they do that should take care of fleas in your condo unless you have a massive infestation.

Try to duct-tape cabinets & close doors. Wash whatever you can. Don't be too paranoid about it. My daughter is almost 29 & i've always had pets. Just be careful.

If you bomb your own house you will arrested for being a terrosist and sent to an asylum coz you are a lunatic.
