Dear Big E,
No, hell does not exist today.....but it will exist in the not so distant future. You see, the Lord is perfectly just. In fact He is perfect in all His attributes! So, in order for the Lord (Jesus Christ) to condemn anyone to eternal damnation (hell) there needs to be a trial first. That trial will take place on the last day (which will also mark the end of the world, universe, and time) when all those that never had been saved will be presented with the evidence against them. The sentence is eternal damnation and that sentence will be carried out.
However, another one of God's magnificent attributes is He is merciful! One can ask the Lord for mercy and continue to read the Bible. If God has determined to save a person, it will happen during that person's life. When death comes, there is no longer any opportunity for God's mercy. The Bible says, "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Faith is a synonym for the Lord Jesus Christ. So then, Christ cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If God is going to save you, it will be in the environment of hearing the word of God--the Bible. I have left a website that can give more info.

How do you know that Satan is not there (wherever you may mean) I think hell is all around with regard to the bad feeling that people have towards one another and especially the fact that terrorism has become the norm, something that we are expected to teach our children about and live with on a daily basis. Why, oh why can people not just accept each other as we are and live life to the full. We only get the one try on this earth so why not all enjoy it.

I believe that hell does exists and Satan ahas been released to from only a short period of time. Hell is w place where the presence of God is not their and a person's soul is being tormented day and night for ever because God wrath is upon them. They had the chance to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and they didn't they will get their punishment. But when jesus comes back we as believers will be judge as well.
This is what I believe and know.

Evil walks amoung us. There are Satan's followers. Just ask the one's in the prison's. They will answer your question. People cause their own hell.
Have a nice day.

Yes, it's more commonly reffered to as Fairbury, Nebraska. Trust me, Satan is there and quite easy to find. Just ask for him at the local bar.

The present day ideal of hell was taken from the books of literature written by Dante (Divine Comedy) and John Milton (Paradise Lost).
Sorry but there is no justice in death only a really long nap.
