Many of the false religions use that verse about the comforter/helper but if you read on it clarifies:
John 16

7"But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

8"And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment;

9concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;

10and concerning righteousness, because (P)I go to the Father and you no longer see Me;

11and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

12"I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

13"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

14"He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.

15All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

The Bible was written and compiled long before Mohammed was born. He's not in there at all. Actually he's not even in early versions of the Koran either. There's quite a bit of evidence that the Koran started out life as a Byzantine treatise on the Bible that Mohammed simply modified and inserted himself into.
But don't tell a Muslim. They'll bomb your house and cut your head off to prove just how peaceful they are.

Mohammad was born around 600AD. A great amount of the old testament was written about 1000 years before that, and the NT about 30-60AD. The books of the OT and NT thus pre-dated Mohammed by hundreds of years.

Muhammed is not mentioned in the Bible, either the Jewish or the Christian versions. Muslims say that he is prophet spoken of by Moses, although that applies to Jesus. Muslims also say he was the Comforter that was to come after Jesus. However, the Comforter is the Holy Spirit.

Wow the attempts. Are there any muslims online?

They say he was prophesied as the Comforter. Look it up in a concordance in the N.T.

Christians believe the Comforter is the Holy Spirit.

I am a Christian, so I lean toward the latter.

I pray you find understanding of the truth
