I suggest making a flyer to hand out that explains what you do and what you are all about. Maybe bring a exercise ball, some bands and some small weights to demonstrate some exercises when people ask, and most importantly, be there to answer their questions.

I have worked health fairs, and it is more about information than demonstration. Bring some written and visual information about your gym. What do you have to offer to the working mother? Seniors? Serious body builders? Any specialty classes, like aerobics or yoga? Give the folks as much as you can in a neat package. Then, some information about the benefits of exercise. We all know exercise works, but use recent studies. (Try google scholar for articles) There is good information out there showing that moderate exercise for 30 minutes at a time can do good things. If you have the time, find the information and then tailor it to specific groups. Seniors worry about heart health, joint flexibility etc. Men want to build muscle, women want to burn fat, you get the idea. But the key here would be to push exercise, and the benefits of any health club, not just yours. Otherwise it will be too much like a commercial. The fact that you are at the health fair, and giving of your time will be commercial enough for your club. Then bring a small selection of things for demonstrations, exercise balls, weights etc. Just don't get too elaborate. Most of these things, you want to get the message across in a few minutes. Good luck!

You could also offer some free fitness assessments. You can choose which ones you want to offer, BMI, basic HR calculations, functional assessments (if your trained and confident) you could take someone through lets say an overhead squat assessment and show them their imbalances and an exercise or two on how you would help correct it.

Put something together with current stats on how nutrition and exercise can greatly help: obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, LBP Low Back Pain etc.

Have fun and Good Luck!!

I would try promoting a new sport- like beach tennis. Even if you have the room to set it up. Also do body assements and have your buisness cards handy
