I thoroughly agree to the “How come people are always looking for an easy solution? This is life man, it's not easy, and there's no religion that will make it easy.”
However finding your spirituality can make you feel more at peace inside and that really is the true point behind spirituality.
Take time to explore different spiritual beliefs. Find one that works for you. There are more than six billion people in this world; one religion isn’t going to satisfy all of them.
Don’t be discouraged because some religions tell you how to live, and are full of threats and other negative things.
There are believes out there that are less like organized religion and more like ways of living that are focused on balance and peace, and unity. Don’t judge a belief like just based on what you hear. Learn about it and mostly THINK FOR YORUSELF.
Take a period of Self Discovery.

We need a basic set of morals to live life in balance within our society and with respect for those around us. There are many Pagan traditions which teach this, but many are not organized "religions" as most people would know.... they are ways of living, not meetings and rituals.
If we live our lives in synch with the rest of the world rather than attempting to seperate from it (many religions seem to teach us we humans are somehow superior and seperate from the Natural world), we will know peace and we will be better capable to adapt to our everchanging planet.
We don't need someone to tell us how to live and threaten us if we choose otherwise... this only teaches intolerence and fear of those different from ourselves. We need to learn for ourselves so we may have empathy and understand one another. We will then be able to see how we are all part of the same world, trying to survive and live in peace just like everyone else.

Trust me God's word will never be obsolete...religion is the most important thing in today's society, at the moment people are so caught up in who's religion is the right one, or which one has the strongest foundation...this is not what God wants to see...only the pure in heart will see God, and man sees the outward appearance, but God sees the heart...he and only he has the power to bring solution to problems of human beings, no matter what new religion, or constitution is brought in things will still remain as they are because people are using religion as a weapon to gain power over another...but only God has the power in the end.

The problem with religion is that there are so many that have nothing to do with God and to many that claim to be Christians that don't follow the word of God.
There is no need for a new religion, just a need to follow the religion as prescribed by the word of God.

Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Light. Religion is just the different ways people follow their faith. Society needs to have faith in the battle against good and evil. Some are so wrapped up in saving souls they don't realize they criticize and sit in judgment against each other. What a shame it is not Jesus' message. Love one another, and you will follow in Jesus' footsteps.

one can tell the type of society by the religion and one can tell the type of society by the religion. there are three ways to gain control in a society. religion, military and political. when one society interacts with another society and they exchange ideas each tends to incorporate certain ideas gained from the other. thus each society has changed their belief system to a certain extent.
