Depends on whether you are looking for just a short term or a long term relationship.
Take a look at high school class reunion pictures at about the 20th to 30th class reunion. Looks start to fade and they get equalized between the beautiful people and the plain janes of the class (I should know because I was one of the plain janes).
However, in contrast to beauty, intellect does not fade with age (until you get very old) and so I'd rather have a smart person than a pretty face to be with any day.

Luckily I am both, but if I had to choose which I would rather be with for the rest of my life, I would choose smart over beautiful........you could only look at a beautiful person for so long, before she/he said something stupid and then the attraction would be over for me! Smart is the way to go

both... smart people might be ugly but they are probably really beautiful underneath it all and beautiful people are smart in their own little way too

I have both but im blessed
I know my daughter is gonna be gorgeous but if I had to pick one it would be intelligent
beautiful+ dumb= looks goo but worthless
ugly+ smart= she can always think something up
