Is your name bychance Ted Kazinsky? I think you are concerned that your dissatisfaction with your life has reached pathologic porportions. Only you can answer that.
The saying "No man is an island" unfortunately is true. This species is designed to rely on each other for social support and interaction.
If you need to get some counselling to help you through this, your life will be much more meaningful in the long run. You are suffering from a depressive episode right now manifested by malfunctioning social adjustment issues. Don't make any radical life decisions that could alter the course of an otherwise productive and giving life until you can truthfully say you are no longer depressed and are looking at life with all its possibilities.

I think people are social creatures in most part and it nice to have a few friends. I have two places in mind;
ONE: Get a canoe and supplies and live on a small river where you can fish and hunt and may be around occasional Canoeist.
TWO: Buy a small sail boat, wind is free. For a single person you be surprised that a 38 footer or longer if money allow make a cheap home and fun. Again you would be able to Fish and Hunt and have better access to stores. Also, most people living on Boats are friendly though they may still keep to themselves.
Good Luck!

I know exactly how you feel, just not to such an extreme.
N. California has a beautiful coast and you can still find parts that are fairly isolated. Colorado was a good suggestion, but not cheap. Idaho would be a better bet. Something near, but not too near Boise - still a good cost of living, access to a larger city if you need it, a wonderful atmosphere and great people (much more laid back), and there are plenty of places you can find to tuck yourself away. Sorry, no ocean there.

I think you are just plain screwed. Interaction with society is just something you will have to deal with. You also need to find some friends that aren't "fair-weather" only... since that seems to be the nature of most people these days, good luck.

You sound clinically depressed. I'd suggest some counseling.
Most people who can't stay in relationships and don't like people, actually sabotage the relationships and mostly don't like themselves.
You'll still be stuck with you on a desert island. You just won't have as many opportunities to see yourself reflected in the reactions of others.
Really, I'm being very serious, life doesn't have to suck so much.

Human beings are social animals. Complete isolation from other human beings will (over a long enough period of time) will literally drive you to insanity due to lack of any social interaction.

Move to Colorado. It's nice. Go to areas that are not over-populated, and instead very underdeveloped.
Seek God (sounds like you have a big void in life.)
