no. if anything you should steam them and take the meat out then freeze them.

No way. Never freeze uncooked clams. However, you can remove them from the shell and freeze them once they have been steamed.

oI have never heard of anyone doing this as fresh shell fish should be coked while alive. If you were to freeze them while alive if they don't open you will have to break each one open with a hammer to get out the meat. I don't recommend it. Cook them up and eat them now.

I wouldn't but we have several times frozen the clams and the broth after they were steamed. Makes a great chowder.

No, I think you have to cook them. Clams and other shellfish should be alive before being cooked, so freexing raw ones is not a good idea.

I don't believe so. I think any kind of shell fish has to be used or tossed. My theory is, if you can't buy it frozed from the grocery store, you can't freeze it yourself for later use.
