For instance, christians believe Jesus will return when we have all heard the word.... So why are true christians not wandering the earth spreading their faith. Why do they sit at home when there are millions who have never read a bible?

SOME ARE SELFISH AND ONLY CARE ABOUT THEMSELVES. THEY DONT CARE THAT THEIR OWN NEIGHBOR IS GOING TO HELL.

Many people in our church have gone out on missions to foreign lands, and some have lost their lives there. Whilst we are called to evangelise, spreading the Word of the Gospel, not everyone is supposed to go to the other side of the world. Who would pay for all the missionaries to be there? The majority of Christians support missions by offerings and tithes!
We are called to spread the Word in everyday life, but not all conversations are good opportunities. We must use our discretion to see where the Holy Spirit is working. JW's are a cult, not Christian!

Why do you sit there and stereotype others?
Perhaps if you went to church and saw what Christians around the world are doing you wouldn't be so critical.
If you are aware of this, then are you doing your part to spread Gods word? Or are you acting as you perceive all "true christians" are?

some people say theyre christians when theyre not. a true christian is someone who has asked asked jesus into their life. many assume theyre christian just because theyre british.
im a born again christian (cos i have said that prayer, and born again meaning new life started in christ) and in do share my faith. i have to admit its not always easy cos you dont know how people are going to react to it!! i think there are less people open to it here because of our culture of independence and materialism...people think theyre fine by themselves. there are many in other countries doing mission work.
you do have a good point though mate. i wish i knew the bible better and made more effort to do so and what youve said is a good challenge to genuine christians who read it to share their faith more!!

I think the reason why people do not spread the word of god in the sense that they go out and do it is because people are not afraid of religion anymore. In the past people have been told that if they do not believe they will go to hell because most people couldn't read they believed it. so the real reason I think is because people can't be bothered.

Because in some places they still persecute Christians. I have read parts of the bible in Primary school as part of my studies true Christians believe that we need to find our own identity.

i think you will find Jehovah's witnesses have been preaching about Jehovah and Jesus for over a century, and can be found in over 235 lands. kinda a big clue as to who are true christians

Because I believe in minding my own business untill someone asks me to explain something to them. Jesus Himself sat on the outskirts of towns and those who came of their own accord were taught and spoken to... I do not believe He ever bardged in anywhere and MADE people listen that did not want to hear it
