3-31/2 hours? lol. If you take main roads and don't stop, it should take you 8-9 hours to travel the nearly 600 miles, depending on road closures and traffic. Be careful about going during winter storm season as there is a mountain pass that closes frequently on the border of CA and OR.

Mapquest is a great resource when planning road trips. Simply enter the town you are departing from and the town you are going to in the 'driving directions' area and you'll get directions, milage, and time. It takes about 5 seconds.

Have a safe trip. : )

This is probably the most fantastic Highway in the world.
Highway 1. or Route 1, Total diistance Approx. 680 miles, its a road that hugs the Pacific coast & offers up breathtaking scenery.
Dont make the mistake of taking the inter-state.
It is written that this is one of 100 things you must do before you
die.It will take about 2 days, & last a lifetime.
Enjoy!!!

I think you can work out your journey using the AAA http://ww1.aaa.com/AAA_Travel/AAAMaps/travel_directions.htm

just put in where you are and the destination you need and it should tell you how to get there and the time. I couldn't try it out as i'd need your postcode, but the one in the UK, known as the AA, works brilliantly and I use it all the time whenever I need to know where i'm going and how long it'll take me.
