Washington DC Rock clubs?

Hey everyone. My band is a local punk/hard rock band from New York City and we've built up a name for ourselves here and want to spread out. I was looking for names of some clubs in Washington DC that we could play at, can anyone give me a few places or at least one? Thank you.

The two best are the 9:300 club and the Black Cat.

I agree with the poster above--- 930 and Black Cat are best but it is going to get a local band booked into the 930 Club. The Pogues played there, for pete's sake! Some great venues for lesser known acts: Velvet Lounge, DC9, and The Red and The Black.
