Remind her. Every time. Until she gets it right or explains why she is being rude.
If she still ignores your "house rule," meet her at her house or at a mall or restaurant.
I'm not going to ask why you impose this rule on your invited quests, assuming it has something to do with germs or cleanliness. What do you do when you have a more formal gathering of, say, 10 people?

Before her next visit, tell her that she'll be expected to remove her shoes when she arrives. Leave a couple of pairs of shoes sitting by your door. That should cue her memory when she enters. If not, then politely remind her to take off her shoes. I can't imagine she would have a problem with it if she keeps a no-shoes home herself.

Two options. Either stop asking her to come over or pointedly tell her the next time she stops by that you would appreciate it if she would remove her shoes. I have a no smoking car.. and believe me, no exceptions are made. If the individual is really a friend they will respect my wishes!

When she steps inside, just ask her to remove her shoes.
Also, do you have any guest slippers? Many asian people keep slippers to be used for guests. When she steps inside, simply place the slippers in front of her feet and tell her she can use them while she is inside your home.

i cant say as i blame you for wanting your friend to remove her shoes at your home. i am the same way but it is because i have small dogs that will eat anything, and i also babysit occasionally so i guess my thing is a cleanliness issue. but one in the same if she expects you to remove your shoes at her home its only right for her to do the same thing at your home

Call her attention to it since she is a believer of a "no shoes home" I dont see her making a big deal out of it.

When you go to her home, do you just run around in socks or bare feet or does she have slippers at the door for guests to use. Maybe she thinks that you're supposed to have something available for her to slip into.
Sounds like you need to communicate, in any event. She won't know it bothers you if you don't bring it up.

Just ask her to remove her shoes. If she is concerned about having cold feet then perhaps you should have some slippers handy for her to use.

Just tell her so. She should've known by now that she's expected to remove her shoes but it seems that she isn't thoughthful and you're extremelly caring.
It's time for her to show some respect
